Vehicles are classified into five tolling categories or classes in accordance with the Bylaw on the tolls charged on public roads, and the Decision on motorway toll rates, as approved by the MPPI.

 

 In Croatia, motorway tolls can be paid as follows:

1. Cash:
   HRK, EUR

2. Credit cards:
   VISA, Master Card, Maestro, Diners Card, American Express, INA and MOL fleet cards

3. Prepaid cards (smart):
   ARZ smart card, AZM smart card

4. Electronic toll collection (ETC):
   HAC, ARZ, Bina-Istra

5. Toll account replenishment via SMS messages and WEB portals
